Energy is part of our everyday lives—something many of us take for granted. But as the demand for energy continues to increase, along with our population and number of community businesses, Avista wants to ensure we’re meeting the demand for energy as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
Avista offers rebates to encourage customers to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
The ability to submit rebates online is currently unavailable. Please see printable forms below.
Current Residential Rebates and Incentives
Please note: The home's billing history will be reviewed and must demonstrate that program minimum levels of electricity and/or natural gas were used during the previous heating season in order to be eligible for the rebates related to space heat conversions, insulation, and windows. Please contact Avista and ask for the residential rebates department to confirm your project's eligibility.
All improvements must be contractor installed to be eligible for a rebate.
Application forms along with supporting documentation must be submitted to Avista for rebate consideration within 90 days of the completed installation.

Low interest loans are available
Low interest loans are available for energy efficiency projects through Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union (PSCCU). Loans are available in Washington in conjunction with the Department of Commerce. For more information about the Clean Energy Fund and the Energy Smart Loan program, call PSCCU at (800) 273-1550.
Save with Lighting
Lighting is one of the most visible ways you use energy in your home. Replacing as many incandescent lights with energy-saving models is one of the easiest ways to lower your energy costs.
In addition to the rebates listed above, existing homeowners may also be eligible for federal tax credits for energy efficiency improvements.
Locate an HVAC dealer
If you need to locate a dealer to perform a service, we can help. We recommend shopping around and comparing dealers when you are in need of service, repair, or new equipment.
