Avista Utilities has teamed up with Sterling Bank to offer Energy Loans.

Individuals now have the ability to finance permanent energy projects. Sterling Bank will loan up to $10,000 to qualifying applicants who use the funds for eligible projects (natural gas main hook-ups and conversions to natural gas, gas furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces and air conditioning). Ineligible projects include new construction, insulation, refinancing of existing energy related loans, projects already in progress or completed.

Loan amounts are available from $1,000 to $10,000 with financing up to 100% of the project based on invoice.
