In fact, we’ve been actively encouraging the wise and efficient use of energy since the 1970s — achieving a load 90 megawatts lower than it would be without our conservation efforts. That translates into enough energy to serve 67,500 homes.

Why do we do it?

Because conserving can save you money, can save us from buying energy on the open market, and reduces impacts on our environment. That’s what we call a win-win-win.
