Keeping our rivers well.
Rivers do so much for us. They are an abundant source of life, they fill our lives with natural beauty and they are essential to our work.
And that’s why we’re so protective of our rivers — rivers like the Clark Fork in Idaho and Montana.
Just to give you an example, in the seven years since its implementation, the Clark Fork Project has helped to restore over a mile of Twin Creek, an important bull trout spawning stream, to its historic channel.
We’ve also made significant improvements to recreational facilities all along the river like Pilgrim Creek Park, which has a picnic area, a fishing pier, a playground, two baseball fields and a Frisbee golf course, as well as other park amenities.
