Avista's Energy Fair 

You are invited to the Avista Energy Fair at the Northeast Community Center  (located at 4001 N. Cook, Spokane, WA.) Wed., Feb. 8, 2012 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
 
Avista employees and community service providers will be on hand to answer questions about the following:

Wattson

  • Energy Efficiency – See low-cost and no-cost efficiency

    demonstrations for solutions like rope caulking, door sweeps and window plastic. Free samples will be handed out.

  • Bill Assistance – Avista customer service representatives can answer billing questions, provide information about payment options and refer  to energy assistance programs. You can also learn how to use Avista's free online Bill Analyzer.
  • Community Assistance – Avista and community service providers will be on hand to answer questions about energy assistance, weatherization and other topics.
  • Kids Meet Wattson – Stop by and see Wattson the Energy Watchdog! Kids activities include crafts, dancing and interactive games.

This list of energy fair exhibitors will be on hand to help answer questions.

  • Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW): providing information about services for seniors and people living with a disability including Statewide Health
  • Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) services and the Chronic Disease Self Management Program.
  • Community Frameworks: providing education and one-on-one assistance regarding credit, financial fitness, mortgage basics and information one energy efficient new construction homes.
  • Money Management International: providing information on budgeting and financial assistance.
  • SNAP: providing information about energy assistance grants, weatherization programs and more. WorkSource: providing job search and available services information.
  • United Way: providing information on the Earned Income Tax Credit, free tax preparation, financial education classes and new, low-fee bank accounts that are available in Spokane.

Parking is free and there will be complimentary food and beverages, door prizes and activities for the kids.
