Living on a fixed income means the unforeseen can hit really hard.

We designed our Senior Energy Outreach to help seniors facing the unexpected hardship of higher energy bills. The program tries to reach customers who may be reluctant to ask for assistance, who are paying energy bills rather than buying food or medicine, and who are not typically eligible for Project Share or LIRAP (low income rate assistance program).

Through a simplified phone certification process, eligible Avista customers can get a $300 grant and eligible non-Avista customers can get a $100 grant. To find out if you qualify, please call CARES at (888) 700-2757 or your local community action agency.
