Services for My New Development

To qualify as a Development, your project must consist of six or more individual single-family home lots in an urban or suburban setting. Each lot should have no more than 175 feet of street frontage, including townhouses, cottages, and multi-family facilities such as apartment complexes. 

To get the ball rolling just complete the following three easy steps and we’ll start a job to run electricity and/or natural gas to your new development.

Step 1
View a map of our service territory  to ensure Avista provides the electric and or natural gas service to your site.

Step 2
Complete an online application for service to start the process. As a part of the application process you’ll want to create or sign-in to your online My Projects account. Then you’ll have 24/7 access to view the status of your project online, provide important updates to your job, and receive email updates from your Avista project coordinator. Or if you prefer to do business over the phone, you’re always welcome to contact us at 1-800-227-9187. Step 3
E-mail your preliminary or final plat drawing in the required format.

Once you’ve submitted your application for service, an Avista Customer Project Coordinator (CPC) will contact you within one business day. Your dedicated CPC will answer any questions, keep you updated on progress, and basically make sure your project runs smoothly.
